Yehuda Bauer
Professor @Hebrew University
Yehuda Bauer is the (Emeritus) Professor of Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Born in 1926, he is the Academic Adviser of Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Remembrance and Educational institution, Member of the Israeli Academy of Science, and Hon. Chairman of the intergovernmental International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. He has authored 22 books, mainly on the Holocaust and Genocide (and its prevention), and about 100 refereed articles and chapters in books and journals. He has spoken to the German Bundestag (1998), the Stockholm Fora on Holocaust Education (2000) and Genocide Prevention (2004), the UN General assembly (2007), and has advised on a number of films and documentaries, including Claude Lanzman's "Shoah". He is the recipient of the Israel Prize (1998) and of the Emet Prize (2017).
Casey Babb
PhD Student @Norm Patterson School of International Affairs
Casey Babb is a former Policy Advisor to Canada's Minister of National Defence, and is currently a Junior Associate at the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security and Society, as well as a PhD Candidate at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. His research is primarily focused on the malicious use of cyberspace, at both the state and non-state level.
